a very good choice. The F150 did not have enough stock suspension for my 24 foot trailer with a GVER 10,000lb. Now we all know the truck will pull that weight but when you hooked up it squatted.After installing the air lift it does not squat any more and the truck with a 5.0 has enough power to pull the weight. I had Monroe air shocks on it before but they would not do the job. I am very happy with the setup. I replaced the Monroe air shocks with Rancho shock's and the ride is amazing with or with out the trailer. This was a great investment for the long haul.3410020

Watched the install video twice before the shipment got here and had no problems installing it. Also installed the WirelessOne from Airlift at the same time. Picked up some 1/4" clamps to make the air lines look a little cleaner, and hold them in place during our snowy and icy winters. Including the WirelessOne system, it took about 8 hours from the time I washed the underside of the truck until I rolled it back out from the garage. Pulled the camper this morning and all my old issues have disappeared. Truck is level, trailer pulls great, and the cooling system is back to working as needed. Im very impressed with these airbags. So far they are doing the job. These come with all hardware and instructions. I put 20 psi with no load to see how long the air would hold up. 2 weeks later im now at 15 psi which I'm satisfied. The previous bags of another brand didnt hold air well even with no leaks. I can tell the difference in ride quality. I've loaded the bed with landscaping materials and towed my boat with 15 psi and still holding strong. Looking forward to towing my Travel Trailer. They work great. The install wasn't too bad. There are videos on Youtube that show the install without removing the back tires. It's easier if you take the tires off and have 2 floor jacks. It took about 30-40 minutes to do the driver's side and less than 10 for the passenger side (after the learning curve).898143

Airbags are easy to install maybe took myself 3 hours start to finish..
An I needed them to pull my 35’ bumper pull camper around from job to job with a 2015 f-150 xlt supercrew 5.0 v8.
So now I’m able to add 65 psi into each side an level out my truck.
Makes everything about it much safer.

Now if only I can purchase the onboard air compressor system I would be sitting pretty.

When adding in air springs on a lifted vehicle the proper way to determine the correct sized spacer is to first install the upper and lower brackets and then measure the distance between them and subtract the height of the air spring bellow (bag). Not every lift is going to create a gap and not every gap is going to be an equal match to the lift kit (ex: a 2" lift might not give you a 2" gap).

Great question! Proposing, or the back and forth movement, typically occurs when the trailer isn't loaded properly so you have either too much or too little tongue weight, or your trailer simply isn't level. This doesn't allow the trailer to tow naturally so you get some weird movement. We do have some things that can help in addition to this but the first thing you need to do is make sure that your loaded trailer tongue weight (TW) is within the 10-15% range of the weight of your trailer.... view full answer...

Because of this we typically recommend using the SumoSprings like part # SS95QR instead. The SumoSprings kits do a much better job at providing a comfortable traveling experience.

Although air bags won't increase the weight capacity or payload of your 2018 Ford F-150, since you are definitely pushing it to the max any additional help wouldn't hurt at all.
